cryptography

Encryption is the knowledge that examines and recognizes the principles and methods of transferring or storing information securely (even if the transmission path and communication channels or insecure data storage) pays. Encryption is the use of mathematical methods to secure information. Cryptography changes the text message or information through the password key and using a password algorithm. Because the only person who is aware of the key and algorithm can extract the original information from encryption information, and the person who is not aware of one or both of them can not access information. Encryption knowledge is based on principles such as information theory, numbers theory, and statistics, and today it is specifically considered in telecommunication science. Cryptography is derived from two words Greek Kryptos in the sense of "hidden" and graphien means "writing".
